Parenting Children with ADHD Course

Building Relationships – online course for couples

Wednesdays from 14th October 2026 to 2nd December 2026 (see flyer for all dates)

Free online relationship support for couples!

Join us for a 6 week online course covering topics such as feeling closer to each other, improving communication and managing conflict.

The course will run on Zoom and you will be part of a group of couples. Zoom ‘Focus’ mode will be on so you won’t see the other couples and they won’t see you. You will NOT be asked to speak to anyone but your partner, and any discussions will happen in private Zoom breakout rooms. All materials will be provided.

The sessions offer practical tools to help couples connect and grow together, covering:

Healthy communication

  • Understanding communication: What it truly means.
  • Active listening: Hear and support each other.
  • Safe spaces: Create trust for open conversations.
  • Talking tips: Use “I messages” and tools like the Feelings Wheel.
  • Breaking patterns: Avoid negative habits and speak each other’s love language.

Managing conflict

  • Embrace differences: Celebrate uniqueness and normalise disagreements.
  • Resolving issues: Tackle solvable problems and manage perpetual ones.
  • Breaking the cycle: Reduce harm from ongoing conflict.

Emotional Closeness

  • Quality tme: Build shared rituals and deeper connections.
  • Sound Relationship House: Strengthen trust and understanding.
  • Emotional Bank Account: Add daily positivity.
  • Shared meaning: Align on values and dreams.
