Keep Fit For Marriage – if you are married or preparing for marriage
Each course runs over a weekend at Lee Abbey – a stunning Christian conference, retreat and holiday centre on the North coast of Devon.
The Keep Fit For Marriage course is a valuable chance for couples, married or preparing for marriage, to take a break and invest in their relationship, growing together, finding ways of working through differences, and setting new goals.
Whether you are a pre-married couple or have been married for years, take the opportunity of some time away to build and strengthen your relationship with your partner.
Before the event we provide you with a questionnaire to help you take stock of where you are at the moment. Then during the weekend there are talks and exercises to encourage growth in communication and other key aspects of the way you relate to each other. You work only with your partner – you will not be asked to share with the group.
The sessions cover:
- Knowing our strengths
- Communication and relationship dynamics
- Intimacy
- Celebrating and managing our differences
- Impact of family of origin on our relationships
- Personality
- Planning for growth
So, whether you want to invest some time in continuing to enrich a great relationship, or you know that there is room for improvement, treat yourselves to this special weekend away.
Weekends currently scheduled are:
- 8 – 10 March 2024
- 11 – 13 October 2024
